HELP Mpeg2avi conversion
I've been trying for quite a while to convert some mpeg-2 files I have to .avi (Divx) files. At first I tried a bunch of the "one-step" file conversion programs out there, but none could even load the file. One said I had to change the file extension to.vob from .mog because it said it was seeing it as a mpeg-1 file, well I did that but I still got nothing. I finally tried in MPEG2AVi using a gui fontend, and while I can get it to load the files and even convert it, I can only get 2minute output files, I can't figure what I'm doing wrong. I've tried changing variuos filters, encoding rates etc. but nothing seems to work. I know I'm probably overlooking something really small, any help wouldbe greatly appreciated. BTW I had to change the file extention to .vob for it to work in mpg2avi also....
