unknown audio tag

Hello

I'm experiencing problems trying to convert an xvid video to SVCD. First I need to cut the movie in two parts. I'm using
Virtualdubmod for this.

After geeting the " VBR" warning, when I try to do anything (like previewing or saving the audio in PCM, that I'm getting the following message:

"No audio decompressor could be found to decompress the source audio format"

In the file information I can find this audio stream info:

Sampling: 48000
Channels: 2 (stereo)
Sample precision: N/A
Compression: unknown (tag 055)

Does anyone know what I can do to follow the process?
