Decoding concatenated vobs

Hiya guys,
I have a couple of vobs concatenated with Smart Ripper, each is about
6GB long. I would prefer to decode them with xmpeg so I can use the
reference iDCT however I can't find a version of the application that will
decode the damn things.

Flask crashes. The latest xmpeg crashes. 5.0.3.1 will open the file but just
flashes green when I hit decode and goes no further....

Anyone got any hints? As this is naturally going to be re-encoded I'd prefer
to use something with reference quality to decode it...

You can split the .VOBs with a small program called MPEGUtils.EXE (and probably accomplish the same thing using VOBEdit to "Demux" by .VOB I.D.)

OR

Try MPEGMediator (instead of Flask or XMPEG) with the 6Gig .VOB

MPEG Utils won't split it for some reason.
Either will VOB Edit.

I found something that claimed to split cleanly at byte marks but I found that immediately preceding the split there was some corrupted video.

Am downloading MPEG Mediator now... Will be great if it works and uses the flask reference idct!

I would still like any feedback if anyone knows of any reference decoder that will do it.
