A more efficient method is needed , Plz help :)-

i have a few .avi`s here i want to make

    VCD`s from.

Nreo will encode 2 mpg 1st , but i ran out of

patience when 5 % took around 40 minutes

Then i tried TMPenc , it estimated just over 4

hours( is only 45 minutes long)....

The i tried avi 2 VCD , which in over 2 hours ,has only

done 5000 frames of over 81,000

So i`ll ask ya , is there a quicker method ?

Not many folks have the VCDs or Mpg`s ready to go

Probably around 1 %. Does this have to be so slow &

    painstakingly tedious ???????

Well, 45 mins shouldn't be as long as 4 hours in TMPGENC. Did u select the vcd template in tmpgenc??

if so, make sure that the settings is set to motion search estimate, the quality wouldn't be as great but it is worth it.

    then burn them using nero.

    it should work.

it took me to encode a film (90 mins) about 3 hours in motion search estimate but 45 mins should be about 1-2 hours??

    give it a shot
