Which conversion tool is better Honestech or TMPGEnc

I'm just interested in which is the better tool for conversion Honestech MPEG Encoder 5.0 or TMPGEnc, I've kinda used both Honestech has better picture quality encoding but the sound is louder than he vocals, also TMPGEnc is quite good but I am having problems with it such as it is overrunning and encoding more over the original source position so send me your views plz
