hi,
i was trying to get a movie encoded to avi. Tools used VDub 1.5.9 (latest) and DivX 5.03 and Xvid codec.
The prob is no matter what i specify for bitrate at the end i get files at bitrate of 550 - 600 (randomly)
i have tried different Vdub versions and even deleted the whole project etc its still the same.
I ve heard before that somehow the codec will decide and limit the bitrate if there's no gain in quality. my frame is 512x288
any ideas?
