conversion to PAL problem

I have a problem...

when i'm converting a divx movie to Mpeg1 (VCD) with the program TMPGenc, option PAL. I get a (sort of) pause after each keyframe (about 2/3 seconds) its very short and almost not noticable, but it is there.. and it bugging the crap out of me!!:devil: :devil: :devil:

But when i encode with NTSC or NTSCFilm... it's not there..

i choose the standard Video-cd PAL / NTSC /NTSCFilm template's

...

Although my DVD player playes both, PAL and NTSC, i find PAL better quality..

I get that too.
I dont know why it happens, but if I dont look for it I forget about it.

It depends if your source was PAL or NTSC. If you are going from NTSC to PAL then the framerate will be changed from 29.97 or 23.976 to 25. This may have something to do with it.
