Hello,
I have been successfully converting DVDs to DivX for some time now
but have noticed that on some occasions a few of my conversions
have two types of problems:
The first one is that there seems to be a negative image (or contour of
an application window) on a few seconds of the film randomly placed.
The second one is that a bit of a few frames show some square pixel-like
things.
I have included some examples from films at the following URL:
#1 and #2 show the first problem and #3 shows the pixel problem.
When I check the ripped VOBs with a DVD player, there is no problem
and when I reconvert, this doesn't happen again (at least not in the
same spot).
My question is does anyone know what's causing this?
For information, I am using DivX 4.12 (one-pass), SmartRipper 2.36,
FlaskMPEG 0.6 and Windows2000 Professional with SP2.
My Hardware is an Athlon1200 with an A7V133 Via-Chip Mobo and 512 MB RAM.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanx
