software prog to join wav audio to avi vid?

I have an avi vid which i have cut the sound out of
and i also have the sound from that vid in wav format

What i would like to do if its possible is simply join them back together again

the reason i took the sound out of it in the first place is its out of sync. about 10 seconds or so out of sync

so if there is a program out there capable of doing this please gimme a shout,
