does anyone know what the DVD framerate is? i saw somewhere that its 59.79 FPS could this be why i get skipping cause when i run flask im setting the framerate to 29.97 and i know know DVD run at a much higher quality.

DVD framerates may be 29.970 (NTSC), 23.976 (NTSC-Film), or 25.0 (PAL) frames per second.
When you load a DVD into Flask, first select "Run" and then "Player". there you'll see information about both the "assumed" framerate and the actual framerate used to create the DVD.
I am not aware of any DVDs with a framerate greater than 29.970 fps. -
