I've just recently started exploring the additional benefits of Nandub (1.02RC) vis-a-vis tried and true VirtualDub. Although I found it quite easy to create an AVI with two MP3 streams (which played perfectly under Windows Media Player with the Morgan Language Switcher), I've thusfar been totally unsuccessful in my attempts to create an AVI with two .AC3 streams.
Following DVD-like conventions, I created one .AC3 at 448 Kbps and the other at 384 Kbps. After loading the silent .AVI, I loaded the 448Kbps .AC3 as the primary audio stream and the 384Kbps .AC3 as the secondary audio stream. The resultant file exhibited two major problems:
1) The second audio stream is not recognized under Windows Media Player (with Morgan Language Switcher)
2) No matter what Interleaving setting I used (from 160 to 0), the first track sounded like chirping.
I noted that if I only use one .AC3 audio stream and no secondary audio stream of any format, it plays without problems.
Information from anyone with specific knowledge of how to overcome this will be greatly appreciated.
