    New Laptop -> YV12 error w/Virtualdub/AVISynth

    I have 2 PCs that I use for encoding DVD-DivX. I use the exact same versions of DVD2AVI 1.76, Virtualdub, DivX, AVISynth 2.5, Graphedit and Virtualdub.

    I just purchased a cetrino laptop 1.4Ghz, Intel Extreme graphics.....

    I moved over all my applications from my other PCs, installing the ones that need installing.

    However, when I come to open a AVISynth script with VirtualDub I always got an error telling "YV12 is not support and a decromessor could not be found, windows media player codecs arent good enough blah blah".....

    What exactly do I need to do to get rid of this error? My software is identical to that on my other machines, so I'm guessing it may be driver related or something?

    No clue...

    But you could try to add ConvertToRGB32() to your AVS !!!
