Hello..
I have converted divx/xvid/avi files with subititles to vcd using tmpgenc with out any encountering any problem.
I burned the mpeg files to VCD using nero.
I tried playing the vcd i made on my pc and it plays perfectly as expected.
The problem is when i try to play it on a regular tv, the subtitles are being cut off in the bottom. Only half or one-fourth of the subititles are being seen when played on tv. This does not happen though if i play it using my pc.
Any ideas on how to get around this situation?
I have tried both ntsc and pal setting but ithe problem remains.
Is there a way that i could re encode the file i have wher i could "reposition" the subtitles..put it up a little bit perhaps?
I am not too familar with the resolutions that are appropriate with vcd format...is is possible to tweak this settings?
Thanks in advance.
