Encode speed slow so much in divx5.11??

    Hello~

I was using Divx5.05 before and now change to 5.11, i found the encode speed slow much in 5.11, why??
With using the same video, in 5.05, doing 1-pass 2000kbps encode can reach 2x fps per second, but now change to 5.11 (also try 5.10, the same slow speed!!) just get 2-3 fps, why have such big change??

    can anyone help me??

Btw, there is'nt any 5.10. I think you might mean 5.1, and if you want to encode with the same speed and better quality than 5.0.5, then choose standard. Sandard is the same as slowest in 5.0.5, people often make the mistake of moving the slider towards slowest instead of trying standard. Really slowest is meant for low bitrates like say 600kbps+, if you have a film at 950kbps+ then just use standard (unless you are prepared to wait for the best quality) it won't do any harm having the slider on slowest while encoding at 950kbps+ but this new quality was put in for low bitrates.
