I have already ripped a movie to my hard drive using DVDDecrypter.
After encoding it into divx using GK, I noticed that at the beginning the credits are first displayed in English, then in French. After a dozen or so instances of this, the sound is no longer in synch with the movie.
Also, during the movie, scenes with text (not to be confused with subtitles) are displayed first in English, then the scene is repeated in French. I read somewhere that this has to do with the dvd being multiangle. If so, is there any way to remove the french sections and have it run smoothly.
(Previously, I was simply using VirtualDub to cut out sections of the final dvd, then re-synch the audio, but quickly determined that there must be an easier way. I don't want to have to go through this process for every movie using this format!)
Thanks for the help
