Removing translation from DivX films.

Hey ya all.
I just downloaded this .AVI film in DivX format that I really like and wanna watch. The film plays perfectly, but the speech is in Russian, and I cannot understand a word in Russian! I can hear in the background they are speaking English, but there is some kind of a translation.
Is there any way the Russian translation can get removed, so the film remains in English only. The film is ripped from the TV. I hope this info is enough for someone who can help me.

As far as I know there's nothing you can do. Changing languages is only possible when you're encoding a ripped dvd, and as far as I know you can't change it after its taken to avi - regardless of format, especially if the avi was taken from an analog source. You could find a russian friend to translate it and add in subtitles, though, if you really want to see it...

I do have a russian friend who did translate something, and I also got some subs. Thanx 4 the help anyway.
