3ivx conversion causes fatal crash

When converting 3ivx .mov files to dvd compatible mpeg2, about ten minutes into the encode, i either get the BSOD or a total freeze, needing a reset. This doesnt happen with any other file type, just this.

Using TMPGEnc 2.5 Plus

Any ideas?

Do you have the .3IVX codec installed on your system?

yep, all codec in place for everything, checked and working.
