strange one this. just reinstalled win XP to iron out a few wierd bugs I was getting with one piece of software only to create a load more. this time with divx encoding.
I had xmpeg and flask mpeg on before and managed to get a decent output but since i reinstalled I have not been able to create output files on either.
it comes up with the error "An error occured when trying to generate the file. Check that your not using the output file or the program is set up correctly"
when i go into the options screen to select the output destionation I first found that it odly said "C:\output video file" (note that it doesnt have a file ext) even when you try to add the ext it still comes up with the error. I also notice that when you browse for an out put file the 'save as' drop down box is empty when I assume it should contain at least 1 option for AVI.
