Need Help with encoding!

Hi,

I was trying to convert Ghost in the shell into an mpeg-1 so i could burn it as a vcd.. but when i convert it with tmpgenc... the video is blank, the sound is there.. but i cannot see anything, the fps it's running at is 24.. so i tried with NTSC and PAL, but both of them don't seem to be working.. and it's just not with this avi, i also tried ninja scroll which has 29.970 fps and it has the same problem. I have divx5.0 codecs. I tried running the mpg with a bunch of different players, but none seem to work. Please help me... I really need to make these into vcd's.

many people say this problem.

I think TMPGENC is not compatible with DIVX 5, if so, I never heard of it.

If anybody knows how to make it compatible then please post a reply here.

But as far as I know, TMPGENC is not compatible with DIVX 5.

Try sending the file into Nero5.5 instead and see how the result goes.
