hey i got some movies and want to put them in svcd format ill be using tmpgenc but before i do i noticed that the fps format is in ntscfilm
i lvie in australia and my format is pal here so my dvd player is in pal format
now i was wondering if i cahnged the fps i know how to do it
    but
only thing is by doing that
    is there any side effects
liek by doing that the video might freeze for exmaple or will the audio be sync
or will it lag in high quality placfes like fire for example

if you change the frame rate of the video, the audio will most definatly be out of sync. I know in Virtual Dub there is an option in the Video frame rate control dialog (Video >> Frame rate) that says "Change so video and audio durations match". You can use that after you convert your frame rate to PAL. But other then that, I dont know of any other way to do it. Hope that helps somewhat.
