Joining divx files with VBR audio

OK.. I need some quick help here.

I have 2 divx files that I would like to merge and then convert to svcd afterwards. I tried to use virtualdub to join them, but they divx have vbr audio, so is not possible. Tried to do the direct stream copy and then put the divx back together, but the audio is way off. If someone could give me some tips, it would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you.

Nandub will handle VBR MP3 tracks comfortably. It is a modified version of Virtualdub, so if you're familiar with it, you shouldn't have any trouble with this one.

I just ran across a modified version of Virtual Dub that can handle VBR audio. I dont remember where I found it, but it is on my website now. There is also I little program that adds a WAV header on an Mp3 file so that it can be read in Virtual Dub. I believe it is called mp3wav.exe and can be found at http://divx-digest.com/software . Hope that helps!

Hmmm.. crap. I wish I had known nandub did VBR audio. I managed to get what I wanted to do done with virtualdub, somewhat. Except the audio cuts out on my first file with 21.5s remaining in the file. When I joined the two files, it just streamed the audio together, so that when it got to the part that WAS file 2, the audio was 21.5 secs early. I tried to fix this by offsetting the audio in part two, which was easy, but when I joined file 1 with the new offset file 2, the same thing happened. Hopefully nandub will solve all my problems. Thanks for the tip guys.
