jerky audio
The audio i have ripped with graph edit is all jerky - there is a regular "pulsing". Is there any way to fix this that anyone knows of?

From what have you extracted the audio?
If you extracted the audio from a DVD, did you rip the DVD first (eliminate the protection)?
If you do have a properly ripped DVd on your hard drive, use VOB2Audio to extract the audiostream... -
If you want to create an MP3 file I'll suggest that you use BeSweet instead. But that's only my opinion
