    Pal to Ntsc dvd-r question

Sorry if I posted this to the wrong forum first

I just bought my first pal dvd today and even though I can watch it on my
computer, I'd like to be able to watch it on my dvd player. I have a dvd
burner and I know that I can rip the dvd to my harddrive and get rid of the
region encoding but how do convert the pal to ntsc. I know that TMPGEenc
    will convert mpeg files.

    Does anyone have any suggestions.

    Thanks

heheheheheheheheheheheeeee (LAUGHING HARD) well said Enchanter!!!!

Well, it depends if your DVD player supports NTSC and PAL together.

I dunno if it will help, but use dvdgenie to make the PC region free then maybe if u rip the vob files, it may make it region free.

I can make the vob files region free but you still have to be able to view a pal signal. Since I can't view a pal signal I have to convert it to ntsc. I was just wondering if there was any software that would do that for vob files.

I never use it but I know that TMPGEnc have a filter called 3:2 pulldown that seemingly it converts the video from pal to ntsc.
