YO!!
I wonder who can help.. I've nibbled through a few posts on this forum but not found anything that solves my problems so far!!
ok, here we go!!
I have some captured video at 720x576 uncompressed AVI's.
I am using cleaner 5 to convert from these uncompressed AVI's into DivX AVI's
the outputted DivX avi's seem to play ok in windows media player, until I start shifting the play head/time line marker about, or until I move windows media player to another location on the desktop (the wmp window) ... when I do one of those two things.. the picture messes up, sometimes there is a layer of green of some of the picture, other times, it looks like areas of the picture aren't getting updated properly.... is this normal??
Also, when I'm trying to edit bits of DivX AVI files in Premiere 6.0, when I press 'preview' the preview window plays a little bit of the movie normally, but then most of the preview windows puts a layer of green over the picture for a while.....
I would love to be able to edit with DIVX avi's in premiere... is it possible...>???
Oh I'm using DivX 5 by the way.. and Windows XP... Geforce 2, 1.25gb of ram. scsi 10000rpm harddrive, PIII.... erm
anyone??
thanks in advance!!
