    logfiles

Does anyone know how I can create this logfile that Flask and XMpeg are saying they can't find it or it may be locked? I created a text file called 'logfile' but now it says that it is unable to write to it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!!!!!

Sounds like you are dooing a '2-pass second pass' correct ?.
You need to select '2-pass first pass' and complete an encodeing with that before selecting '2-pass second pass'.

Thats why it's called 2-pass there are two passes.

Actually I remember that it is set to that. Let me try it without and hopefully that will take care of it for me. Thanks for the help.

If you use the search function you will find out that alot of peaple have the same problem with Flask or Xmpeg. I had these probs too, and a had to uninstall all encoding progs and all codecs and install them new and it worked. But only once. Then I decided to not use this crap anymore. No I use DVD2AVI and VirtualDub and never had any problems up to now. So you better think about taking other progs instead of Flask and Xmpeg because they seem to run not stable and on some systems run not at all.
