    Encoding failure?

    Hi there!
    I've have got a strange result after a DVD-rip/encoding(xvid).
The movie has got no color, and 3 big lines across the screen from bottom left to top right. Also around the lines there's a kind of greenish. Please look at the attached file.

I've encoded 30-40 movies so far and never experienced anything like this. Anyone got an idea, as to why this is happening.
The movie is "The Family Man", PAL-DVD version.

    Software used:
    Smartripper(file mode)
    Xmpeg(DVDmism mode, yv12 format selected, resized and cropped to 564 X 232)
    Xvid(2 pass)

I hope someone can clarify this for me!

Your video resolution has to be multiples of 16. Otherwise, this is exactly what you get.

I strongly advise you to redo the first pass, as a change in video resolution is a relatively major one and is definitely going to affect the bitrate curve significantly.
