I am trying to compress an AVI file of 1 megabite using LCL ( Loss-Less Codec ) with VirtualDub for a test , but instead of getting a smaller file after the process is done I end up having a hugy file ( almost 400 Megabites ), I know I am doing something wrong but I can't figure out what.
This is what I am doing:
I open the AVI file in VirtualDub.
On video tab I select full processing mode and compression, I select the video compression codec ( AVIzlib Compressor ) and configure it to :
Video Format : RGB 24
Compress Mode : High Compression
On audio tab I select AVI audio and direct steam copy.
On file tab I selet : " save as AVI ".
After the compression is finished the saved file is hugy ( 400 Megabites) instead of having a file smaller than the original file of 1 Megabite.
Any help would be really apreciated.
Thanks in advance.
