Hi guys, hope your encodings are going fine. I was just wondering one thing while looking through the options of DVD2AVI... of course it sounds stupid, but which one of the three IDCT options it offers works best for you? I mean, I really noticed an impact on encoding time using the 64-bit floating point and the reference ones compared to 32-bit mmx one.
I was just wondering is the possible quality difference would be worth the extra time needed. Note, I don't care about grain detail or the one-pixel precision, but if the end result is slightly different I'd like to know even before trying it myself, being such a lazy one
If anyone out there cares to let me know, thanks tons in advance.
Peace out there!
