Frame Rate Problems

Whilst watching several divx encoded simpsons episodes, the video is playing at twice the speed. Ie; In the Video Properties bit in WMP6, its averaging a frame rate of around 48! What is going on? Also for some odd reason this occurs only when using WMP6 not WMP7.

If you open the file in VirtualDub and go to fileninformation what does it say?

Give us all the info on that at it maight be some help.

Maybe I should double check things, as its actually an ASF file. Sorry!

Try to convert them to avi files... they will work better.

I'm not sure how to do this though, but I'm rather certain that you need an older version of VirtualDub.
