    Gordian Knot Problems

I'm using Gordian Knot .26 Beta and I'm following the guide at http://gknot.doom9.org . The end credits come out to be like 5gb even though I have it set on 20%. What am I doing wrong?

This can only mean that, the divx compressing failed, and the video is stored as uncompressed video.

Are you sure you properly installed the divx codec ?

Does it work OK if you don't do endcredits ?

I think the DivX 5 codec is installed properly. I encoded one movie already and it came out good. I'm not sure if it still screws up without the credits, I'll try that and let you know what happens.

It still didn't work without the credits. This time the movie file went up to 6gb (the amount of free space on my hard drive) and it wasn't even past the first 15 minutes of the movie? Any ideas?

Try loading the .avs file created by Gknot into virtualdub, and manually set the video compression to divx5.

I finally got it to work. Still don't know what was going wrong with it though.
