    Bad quality encoding anime´s (de-interlance)

I am into encoding anime´s to divx.
But every single one of them gives "interlance-fractures"!
In other words, I allways need to de-interlance them and that reduces the quality ALOT.
I just wonder if there is some kind of tricks making them look better? do i have to de-interlance them?

Try out Inverse Telecine. A guide for it can be found at Doom9's site.
