    really strange problem with Gknot

ok i installed Gknot .21 , and tried both 1 cd and 2 cd rips, both worked perfectly fine. so i did a couple more single cd rips, and everything went fine, then after a couple i went and did a 2 cd rip and it went through the whole process but the file size was that of a single cd.

    any thougts?

p.s. and yes i did set it up right for a 2 cd rip.

    More details needed...

Like which codec were you using divx3.11 or 4 ?
Exactly what bitrate settings did you use ?, resolution ?, output filesize ?.

Codec Used DivX 4.11 both passes

      Audio Birate 128 kbit/s
      Video Birate was around 1100-1300
      Video Resolution was 640 x 352

      setup for 2 CD RIP

      estimated output filesize 1.43 GB

i ran the conversion and the filesize came out to be 662MB

should i use just one pass?

Do you have divx5 installed ?

Why not update to GKnot0.26 and divx5.02 ?

khp, i installed version .26 and divx 5.0.2 and got the same problem, but i did find out what the problem was.

after i ripped the vob files and made the .dvs file, when i loaded the dvs i guess your suppose to keep the preview window open while doing your settings and then hit save&encode on the preview window, then go from their. before i would just close the window and i guess if you dont use the preview window it keeps your old settings which is weird, but now if i keep the preview window open while setting it up everything goes smooth, no worries.
