using ogg to make 5.1 audio in divx?

How do I go about making 5.1 audio using ogg in a divx video? I figured you could since off supports multiple streams and stuff but I can't find any software that will actually decode the ac3 audio into seperate wav's or whatever needs to be done, it always downmixes it to 2 channels. Any help, thanks

somebody around here said something about a program called oggmachine. I dont use ogg, bc MP3 audio at 160 or 128 is enough for anything.
I dont know the advantages of ogg vs mp3. Ist ogg a proprietary format? If so, taht alone is enough to make me not use it.

well the problem isn't getting it into ogg, I mostly know how to do that, it's getting the 5.1 audio out of the ac3 instead of it downsampling it to stereo...

well that oggmachine did the trick, I think, the ogg is in 6 channels, only problem is I only have 2 channels... so how do I get this 6 channel ogg to play correctly on my 2 channel system without messing up the 6 channel audio for surround systems?
