Playback freezes 2 secs when playing from CD, but not from HD.

Strange problem, guys.

I encode the dvd with FlaskMPEG 0.6 and then use Nero to burn it on CD.
When I play it from the hard disk everything is just fine, but when playing from CD (doesn't matter which CD drive), every 30 seconds the screen freezes for a sec or 2.

Any ideas on this one?

My 2 CD players are:

Pioneer DVD reader
Plextor 2410 CD-RW

Make sure that you have enabled DMA for both drives.

You can check this in the IDE controllers properties page in the device manager.

Indeed, not all the settings were set to "DMA enabled".

No more freezing now.
