    How to save Divx file which needs index reconstruction

    I have a divx file which when I open in Nandub(the latest version) starts to reconstruct the index(see below for the msg output from nandub after index reconstruction).....So I went and used 'DivFix' and then I thought after this I could split it into parts (using Nandub again ) to burn it on 2 CDs. However the reconstruction of index started again and I wasn't able to seek the midpoint of the movie file to split it and save it on the CDs.
    Is there a way to save this kind of a file by splitting it up ( with the index fixed)?

    Warning:Virtual Dub has reconstructed the index for this file, but you
    have not specified rekeying in the extended open options dialog.
    Seeking in this file may be slow.

    Using either NanDub or VirtualDub, from the "File" dropdown menu, select "Open".

    Put a checkmark next to "Popup extended open options"
    Select your "problem file"
    Put a checkmark next to "Re-derive keyframe flags"
    Click on "OK"

    If you're fortunate, this will result in the successful reconstruction of the file (both index and keyframes)

    After VDub/NanDub finishes the reconstruction, set both "Video" and "Audio" to "Direct Stream Copying" and save with a new filename.

    Let us know of your success ;>}
