Hi, all
I found a problem while i am playing divx movie with subtiltes.
Here is my naming rules.
moive title(BIG5)-moive title(English)-CD1/2.avi
moive title(BIG5)-moive title(English)-CD1/2.CHT.srt(smi,sub...)
moive title(BIG5)-moive title(English)-CD1/2.ENG.srt(smi,sub...)
I have 3 computers(2 with 2000, 1 with 98)
All of them installed the same codec(nimo v5 build8+ffdshow20021213+media player classic 6.4.02).
Then it comes the problem.
I can change subtitles (DirectVobSub) in CHT/ENG in one of them with 2000, but fail in the other with 2000 and the only one with 98.
The subtitle displayed while i started playing is fine, but none comes up while i change the other subtitle.
Then i tried to cancel the BIG5 naming in files, the problem gone.
I am wondering what makes that i can play both subtitles in the only one with 2000 but fail in the rest of 2 computers??
Is that from BIG5 naming?? If it is, why I can play in the only one with 2000? If it isn't, any solution for me??
Probably you can try another languages in naming, such as French, Geman, Spanish ect.....
Hope all can report what you see.
thanx
