DivX Player 2.0 Alpha Problem

I keep having the same problem with my DivX Player 2.0 Alpha - after a few movie encodes, it will stop opening the movie files and I'm forced to re-install the codec and player.

This usually worked until it stopped working so I had to delete all the registry entries of DivX each time. This worked for awhile and now even this method doesn't fix the problem.

Is there anything I can do to get my codec and Divx Player 2.0 Alpha working again?

The Divx Player is no good at playing divx encoded content. WMP 6.4 or BSPLAYER are better.
