No Video, Used to work! (Not a stupid post)

Well I downloaded a movie that came in two parts. I was screwing around with conversion, and made some direct stream copies. I accidentally deleted the original, and am left with a new one. The new one doesn't work. The sound works, and the codec checker tells me that all the codecs are in order, but it just gives me a black screen. Can anyone tell me how to get the video working? It is also matching the encoding information and file sizes and everything. Help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks.

Assuming that your file is in (DivX-compressed or other) .AVI format:

1) Load the .AVI file into VirtualDub

2) From the "File" dropdown menu, select "File Information"

3) Post (here) EVERYTHING you see (both video and audio information), or post a screen capture .jpg of the information box
