Windows Error playing Mac G4 DivX movie encoded with MEncoder

Hello,

A friend of mine ripped a DVD movie in his MAC G4 Powerbook with MEncoder (DivX4). It's completely perfect on his machine...

When I try to read the avi file in any PC (Win 98, Win NT, Win 2000) the Windows Media Player crashes in the first 2 seconds (before crashing, theres no movie images, only random colours and line and squares and... Lots of colored strange stuff...)

I got all codecs needed...

In Gspot there's no errors (please see attache image)

I tested the avi file in other computers with other operating systems and with different sets of codecs and its always the same thing...

Can anybody help?...

It would appear that your problem lies with the "Aspect Ratio" of 512x217. For proper playback, both the horizontal and vertical values should be divisible by 8 (Actually, 16 is preferable).

217 is not divisible by 8...
