converting mpeg to avi??? need help......

I have dl some movies that i would like to watch @ work. the prob. is that the computer at work will not play mpegs. It will play avi's for some reason. I have dl the latest realplayer, global divx player, wmp9, to no avail. there is something wrong with it that it will not play these mpegs. how can I convert them to avi? easy!!!! Or do I have something esle I am not thinking of???

MPEGMediator is an easy to use program for this purpose...

ok I have dl that program and have screwed with it for a while. How do I do it? I cant figure out??? sorry!!!

I assume you're referring to MPEG Mediator (There's no reason to have started a new thread).

Read the "Readme.txt" file that came with it...
