As it seems to take 2 CD's to record over 2 hours of film. Is there enough bandwidth in your typical PC to be able to stream the video locally. i.e. You start some software that reads in the first CD and stages to Hard disk. Place 2nd CD in caddy and press play. The software streams the video to the player initially from the harddisk whilst reading some from the CD, doing so at such a rate that the video is smoothly displayed okay. Or rather than streaming some psuedo file system that lets a file staged from CD and another from a second CD look like one file with a nice file cache.
