noob question!!!

ok i may not even have this in the right forum but please bare with me.

when playing back some avi movies i get a small white box made up of nine other tiny white boxes jumping around the screen?

any ideas cause its annoying

p.s using realplayer or media player with codecs installed

Try a different player (such as BSPlayer and/or WMP 6.4) and FFDShow (an excellent decoder for most MPEG-4 compression types). If that does not help, try reinstalling your video card driver.
