    Unable to change quality

So here's the story: If I install Servicepack 2 on my Windows 2000, I become unable to change quality settings in the Mediaplayer. In the "Filters in use" section, the codec is just missing!
Does anyone know what to do? Please don't say stuff like use another player or uninstall Servicepack 2.

"Please don't say stuff like use another player"

Then, perhaps, you just don't want to know what may be the simplest resolution to your problem (WMP v.6.4 - "MPLAYER2.exe" on your Win98 installation CD)...

setarip> Firstly, if you read the post then you will see I'm using WINDOWS 2000 and not WINDOWS 98. Secondly, I'm already using WMP 6.4

Does anyone else have a suggestion?
