First off, I am sorry if this is in the wrong section of the forum....
My friend has a movie in xvid and requested korean subtitles for the movie, so i found a site with them in *.smi format. I didn't have any luck finding srt or sub. I had him install vobsub and WinXP korean language packs (Korean IME from Microsoft).
The problem is that the subtitles do not work. Text is displayed in WMP and VLC but the text is all garbage. Is there some way to get the korean font to work?
