Can someone please help! I recently downloaded a 700mb re-encoded divx movie and burned ot to cd-r to watch on my divx dvd player. It worked perfectly until about an hour then pretty much just stopped and went back to the dvd menu. I tought his was a problem witht the disk so I tried it on my computer and it played perfectly. Can anyone help?!

I'd be tempted to try it on a CD/RW - it sounds like media to me. Have you had previous success with your media brand?

I've got a few other films that I've put onto blank cd's. I've not checked them as yet so i'll have a look and see if the same problem occurs again. Have put more than one film onto a dvd-r which works fine. I just don't understand why it worked perfectly on the computer but not the dvd player. Watch this space.Comment

You're right! I checked out some other films that i'd burned to Imation cd-r and they worked perfectly on the dvd player. The Mr Data ones wouldn't work at all. Nice oneComment
