Angus on DVD Online Petition: Please sign!

Thanks for all who have signed the petition to release Angus on DVD! We've just passed the 1,000-signature mark. There's still time to add a few more signatures, so please feel free to sign the online petition, whose link is at the end of this post. However, in order to have a complete and valid petition absent of fake or "empty" signatures, PLEASE READ the following pointers when you reach the petition's form:

    1. Type in your FULL NAME!!! No first-name-only (e.g. "John") or even a first name with an initial (e.g. "John C."). In fact, avoid initials altogether.

    2. For the option "Email Address Privacy Option," please select AVAILABLE TO PETITION AUTHOR. This way, I can see your e-mail, which can act as the equivalent of a handwritten signature when the petition is viewed to the powers-that-be. Rest assured that this will not be used for spamming, although you are free to use a less important e-mail address.

    3. Click PREVIEW YOUR SIGNATURE. This will take you to a page that shows your name as it may appear on the petition. Once you're there, click on APPROVE SIGNATURE.

    4. When you're done, make sure that your name appears in the actual petition.

Thanks for your time! Here is the link:

Last week, I sent an e-mail to Home Vision Cinema asking if they would be interested in producing Angus on DVD. I received an email from Home Vision earlier this week simply saying that they do not have the license for the film and have no plans to acquire it.

Judging from what I've read in other forums, Warner does not license its films to others, so it looks like they (under their subsidary New Line Cinema, which distributed Angus) will be the ones that will have to release the film on DVD. Oh well.
