    video capture card

    Hello
I need to get a video capture card that will work with an internal dvd drive on a desktop pc. I am going to use windows media encoder or real producer to capture video and audio. I wont be using any external devices. so just a basic card will do. I will apreciate any help and suggestions.

    Thanks

I have the ATI TV wonder VE that i bought at best buy on sale for like $40. It was kinda a pain to get working but it records and is the best value for your money. The other popular option at $50 is the win-tv card but it wolnt record. More expensive cards record in Stero and have tv-descramblers you can download online. Hope this helps.

I can reccomend Leadtek WinFast TV 2000 XP. Very easy to install and use. Gives excellent picture quality with further control of brightness, colour and contrast to improve on source video. Best of all it is relatively cheap (£30 or less).
      Hope this helps.
