I just got one of those 2.8 GHz computers that'll be outdated by the time I finish this post. It also has a DVD burner, so huzzah and kudos to Philips.
I used Smartripper to get an m2v file for video and an ac3 file for audio, but now I'm at a loss. I'd like to use TMPGEnc to encode, but it won't accept ac3 audio. So...
1. Is there a way to get TMPGEnc to accept ac3 audio?
2. If not, how can I convert the ac3 to a .wav or other acceptable file type? I downloaded BeSweet and Ac3 Decode, but neither of them worked on Windows XP Home Edition. They just did a little DOS flash and disappeared.
