I've been ripping DVD's and making VCD's (MPEG-1 files with TMPGEnc) for a while now. I am interested in buying a dvd-r burner. When I burn the MPEG-1 files, Nero adds folders (ie CDI, EXT, MPEGAV, SEGMENT, VCD) that make the VCD readable by my home DVD player. If I make MPEG-2 files with TMPGEnc (dvd NTSC) will Nero also add the necessary folders so the MPEG-2 file can be read by my home DVD player like it does with VCD's? Thanks.
