I am sure this is posted somewhere, but

Ok here's the deal the movie is ripped (DVD Decrypter). Stored in a file then I strip it(Infoedit v.0932). Now comes the hard part movie is too large when combined.

Can one change the bitrate before ripping or does it have to be ripped all over again.

And if so what program should i use and which calcuation program is best for us mindless people.

You can re-encode the video to a lower bitrate, or perhaps lower the bitrate of the audio. Check out the doom9.org guides/forum for more information.

You can't change the bitrate before you rip.

All ripping does is copy across the data, and, takes out the encryption factor, leaving you to do whatever you want to do.

Asssuming you know how to do it of course.......

Hope that helps you a bit

Since you already have IfoEdit, us the "Create ReMPEG2 cffl" option under the tools menu. Then get the ReMpeg2 program, any good search engine should be able to find a download site. Rempeg2 will create a reduced bitrate .m2v file which you can remux back into the DVD files with IfoEdit. Note, reducing the bitrate with rempeg2 can take a long time, 16 hours on my computer.
